Shei! I called out to my friend, who was about to take the stairs.

Oi! She shouted back. So, did JR finally decide to meet up with you?, she asked as i join her up the stairs.

Huh? I havent heard from him for about a week now. What a disappointment.

Really? Maybe he has a girlfriend?

Girlfriend? Well its possible. Or maybe its another disappearing act of his. Just like in highschool. I paused for a moment and continued. Remember? I never heard from him after i turned down his invitation for his birthday party?

Haha! It was a fun party but he was indeed disappointed coz you didnt come that day.

Well…it was a bit awkward, dont you think? Shei nodded in response. But anyways, thats all in the past, I continued. But you know, i am interested in knowing him for some reason.

Oh really? Thats new…. Shei raised her left brow in curiosity.

Dont worry Shei… When he decides to meet up with me, youll be the first to know. We stopped in front of her Anatomy class before I headed off to my Biology class. Ill call you. ok?

I almost forgot we were gonna have our unit test in my Biology class. SIGH! As usual, i took a seat in front close to the door. I prefered those seats coz it was easier to submit the papers and get out once im done. AH! Lets do this! Gaja! I told myself as i got my set of tests.

The whole class was given 1 and a half hour to answer the 5 page 100 question test. It was an A B C or D kind of test so it didnt really took me that long to answer the questions. Although, of course, I dont remember reading about most of it. Hi-hi.

As i was on the last page of the test, i noticed someone standing outside our room..about 6 feet away from our door. He was leaning at one of the building columns. And he looked suspicious. Why? Because i caught him looking at my direction and him shifting his gaze as i looked back.

Hmm…What is wrong with this guy. He’s distracting me! I told myself as i was answering the last 10 questions on the test. From the side of my eyes, i could almost see him pointing at me and gesturing to someone from my class!

I looked inside the classroom to see whom he was gesturing to. Hmm…really clever, i whispered to myself as i saw everyone busy with the test. I held my paper up to my face to block my view of that ridiculous guy. Wait. I thought of something. Could it be JR?

I peered up my paper in time to catch him again looking at my direction. I held his gaze and he didnt budge. Hmm…his height…his form…his look….He must be JR, i told myself. I gave him a smirk and made a funny face.

He laughed and waved “hi”.

Ah…so it is him, i thought to myself.

Just in time, i submitted my papers and went out to meet him. I gave him the look.

Ha! I knew that was you! I exclaimed. Your laugh gave it away.

Ha-ha. I wasnt gonna laugh but…yeah…So it is really you.

Of course. Im Lo. Nice to meet you again. I held out my hand as to shake his.

He gladly shook my hand and said, And i’m JR.

Wow, I never really realized how tall he was until he was standing beside me. He was about 6 feet tall..dark skinned..he was wearing a baseball cap but i can still make out his highlights..Whats with the guys having the F4 look these days? I just had to ask myself. But then….nice smile, i thought to myself. It made me smile. I didnt pay attention if he was tryin to ask me a question or if he said anything.

Lo! He started. Is this your last class for the day? I could take you home.

Oh! Well yes…but i promised Shei id meet up with her. Lets go!

I was watching my very first episode of Boys Over Flowers with my mom… All the talk of it and the F4 craze sparked an interest in me….So i did watch.

Ha-ha ma, i think ill be addicted to this drama series now, i told my mom who was sitting beside me on the couch.

I told you it’s a hit. You have to watch it or else you wouldnt know what your friends will be talking about.

We both laughed.

Then the phone rang…… I went to answer it.

Hello?

Hello, the voice from the other line answered. It was a guy’s voice. And it sounded very familiar.

Hello. How may i help you? I placed the handset closer so i can hear the voice more clearly.

Ah, hello. May i speak with Lo please? Is she home?

Who’s this?, i asked not minding his inquiry. I had a feeling it was someone i know from 2 years ago. Someone i had never heard of after his friend told me he was going to give me a bouquet of flowers at Valentine’s Day which, never happened. And then, i left for the States 2 months after. Now, 2 years later, a phone call? I was intrigued. Is it really him?, i asked myself.

Lo? It’s me JR, Jihoo’s friend. Do you remember me?

Ah! JR, its been a long time! How are you? Oh yes i was right! It was him! Jihoo was our common friend who was the boyfriend of my close friend, Mica. Of course i remember you, i added.

He laughed a little and cleared his throat. Im doing ok. Jihoo told me you were back so i decided to call.

A moment of silence…it seemed like he was thinking of what else to say.

I thought i forgot your house number already but i guess i still remember it, he continued.

Now I was surprised i was turned down. Oh! I see….

Dont get me wrong..but, i think ill wait for Jihoo. Him and i will come see you at your campus one of these days.

Oh..? Whats the difference between you meeting up with me alone? Its not like its a date or anything… I commented, sounding really sarcastic.

No no no.. I really think i should just wait until Jihoo comes and we’ll meet up with you.

This guy’s unbelievable! I had no idea there were shy-type guys left in this world. Ha! Good going Lo, i told myself.

Ok then..if thats what you want. That’ll be fine with me. I toned down a little on the sarcasm and with a friendly tone i continued saying, Just dont forget to send me an sms or something when u guys come visit, ok?

I gave him my cellphone number and we talked about uninteresting stuffs for a bit. I did not really pay much attention. Then we bid our goodbyes.

Ah…..I cant believe this guy just turned me down! I kept tellin myself. I was actually interested in seeing that guy and what became of him after 2 years. But then, it would have to wait.
